DuelRing is a promotional arena where startups pay a fixed entry fee to appear in hourly head-to-head rounds. This page sets out what may be listed, how listings are monitored, and how to report one.
HOW LITTLE A LISTING CONTAINS
A listing has exactly four fields: company name, logo, a one-line description, and a website URL. There is no user-to-user messaging, no comments, no file sharing, and no free-text posting beyond that single line. Logos are fetched automatically from the startup's own domain rather than uploaded, and no other file type can be uploaded anywhere on the site.
This is the first control and the strongest one: there is very little room to publish anything harmful in a name, a line, and a link.
WHEN A LISTING APPEARS
Entries are published on payment - we do not hold them in a review queue first. Two things keep that workable rather than reckless:
- ▸ Volume is capped. The queue holds 8 startups and exactly one duel runs per hour, so only a handful of listings can exist at a time and every one is seen quickly.
- ▸ Nothing is anonymous. Every entry is tied to a completed card payment through our payment processor, so a listing can always be traced to whoever paid for it.
WHAT IS NOT ALLOWED
- ▸ Adult or sexual content
- ▸ Gambling or betting
- ▸ Crypto or token sales, and investment schemes
- ▸ Counterfeit goods, weapons, drugs, or controlled substances
- ▸ Pharmaceuticals
- ▸ Hate speech
- ▸ Malware or phishing destinations
- ▸ MLM and get-rich-quick offers
- ▸ Any business whose landing page is non-functional or misrepresents what it is
- ▸ A product the entrant does not own or is not authorised to promote
These rules are part of the Terms of Service, which every entrant accepts before paying.
REMOVAL
A listing found to breach this policy is removed as soon as we become aware of it, whether we notice it ourselves or someone reports it. The owner is barred from entering again. Entry fees are not refunded in cases of policy violation, and that is stated in our Terms before payment.
REPORTING
Every listing carries a Report control on its profile page, open to anyone, with no account needed. Reports reach us directly and we respond within 24 hours. You can also write to support@duelring.club.
If a report concerns something urgent - a phishing destination, or content that must come down immediately - say so and we will act on it before doing anything else.
WHO IS RESPONSIBLE
DuelRing is run by one person, named on the home page and reachable at the address above. Removals and reports are handled by that person, not by an automated filter.
