DuelRing ("we", "the service") operates duelring.club, a public contest where two startups face each other for one hour and the public decides the winner by paid vote. By using the service you agree to these terms.

WHAT THE SERVICE IS

DuelRing sells promotional exposure. A startup that enters is displayed in the arena for at least one round, receives outbound clicks from visitors, and appears on the public leaderboard. We do not sell investment, endorsement, or any guarantee of outcome.

WHAT THINGS COST

• ▸ Queue entry - $20, one time, charged when you enter.
• ▸ Bid for the next slot - from $50. A bid saves a payment method and is charged only if your bid wins that slot.
• ▸ Vote - $1 each. Buy as many as you like.
• ▸ Auto-rejoin - $20 per re-entry, charged only after a loss, and only within the limits you set.

All prices are in US dollars. Your bank may convert to your local currency and apply its own rate.

HOW A DUEL IS DECIDED

Each round lasts one hour. The side with more votes at the close wins. A tie leaves the reigning champion in place. The winner becomes the champion of the next round and pays nothing to continue. The loser is eliminated and may enter again.

Every third challenger slot is reserved for the $20 queue rather than the bid auction, so that startups who do not bid still get their turn.

VOTING

Votes are purchased. There is no account, no login, and no personal information collected from voters. Paying is what prevents ballot stuffing. Votes are final once purchased and cannot be moved to another startup or another round.

MODERATION

Listings are published on payment and monitored afterwards. Anything breaching our rules is removed as soon as we become aware of it, and every listing carries a report control open to anyone. The full Moderation Policy sets out what is not allowed and how removal works.

WHAT YOU MAY NOT SUBMIT

• ▸ A listing you do not own or have permission to promote
• ▸ Content that is illegal, deceptive, or infringes someone else's rights
• ▸ Malware, phishing, or links that mislead about their destination
• ▸ Sexually explicit content, or anything promoting hate or violence

We may remove any listing that breaks these rules, without refund, and may decline any entry at our discretion.

PAYMENTS

Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider acting as the merchant of record for every transaction on DuelRing. Their terms also apply to your purchase, and your statement will show their name, not ours. The provider is named on the checkout page before you pay.

NO GUARANTEE OF RESULTS OR RETURN

DuelRing sells placement and time, not outcomes. We do not promise, estimate, forecast, or imply any level of traffic, views, impressions, votes, clicks, ranking, signups, customers, revenue, press, followers, or return on investment, and nothing on this site should be read as such a promise. Any figures shown are a record of what has already happened, never a projection of what will.

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the thirty days before the claim.
